A new era of ARQ begins
ARQ sets the stage for memorable nights and standout events in the heart of Sydney, bringing together music, performance, hospitality and late-night energy on Oxford Street.
Immersive Sound
To truly move people, sound needs to be felt, not just heard. That’s why we’ve partnered with L‑Acoustics, the same sound technology used in 10 of the world’s top 100 clubs.
Every frequency, every drop, every detail is tuned to perfection, delivering a powerful, immersive experience across every corner of the venue.
A New Chapter for ARQ
ARQ has long been one of Oxford Street’s most recognised nightlife venues, known for its music, performances, dance floors and place in Sydney’s cultural landscape.
As the venue moves into its next chapter, the focus is simple: creating a well-run, welcoming and exciting space for guests, artists, promoters, event organisers and staff.
From club nights and live performances to private events and special celebrations, ARQ is built for people coming together. The venue’s future is centred on great music, strong hospitality, memorable events and a safe, inclusive experience for everyone who walks through the doors.

OUR SPACES
The Arena
ARQ’s main room is built for high-impact nights and large-scale events, with a spacious dance floor, striking lighting, full LED screen, premium sound and a flexible layout for club nights, performances, launches and private events.
Basement
ARQ’s lower floor offers a more intimate late-night setting, with low ceilings, immersive lighting, a full-wall screen and a closer dance floor feel. It’s ideal for DJs, private parties, smaller events and high-energy club nights.
The alley
ARQ’s outdoor laneway gives guests a place to pause, connect and reset between dance floors. It adds another layer to the venue, offering fresh air, flow and flexibility for events of different styles and sizes.
